Where would you stay for five nights Malaga or one of the coastal resorts?

Not too fussed on the budget just yet. Its just myself and some girlfriends. Need to completely unwind so need a pool/beach. It will be in May or June depending on if I need some procedures. Im worried about the weather but also cant go too far out of my comfort zone incase I get ill. I shouldnt in theory. I think Malaga is not enough for five nights so I was thinking staying at a resort?

We like to stay in Malaga and get the train along to the resorts on alternate days but we are not big sun worshippers , rent an appartment with a roof terrace and just pop to the fantastic food markets , walk around the marina etc

There’s a lot to do in Malaga with the castle, rooftop bars, galleries etc. I’d happily stay there and have a day trip somewhere else

Malaga without doubt

Ive heard they dont have a nice beach thoughand Im dreaming of walking along the front on an evening. I really need a pool then. Can I find one in Malaga has anyone got any recommendations?

Estepona has just restored its paseo and if you went on a package you'd have the transfer arranged for you so nice and easy.

Benalmedina ! Went on a girls trip , absolutely stunning, lovely beach , old town for tapas - 15-20 mins in a taxi from the airport

Malaga beach is nice - quite long with beach bbqs on it.

Nerja is really nice, or head down to Marbella and Puerto Banus.
