Reading other threads about being a child in the 80s and the 90s I thought I would start one about being a child in the 70s. I was born in 1968 so i was a child of the 70s. I remember hot pants ABBA and playing Charlie's Angels. I was always Sabrina as I had dark hair, and then at the end of the 70s when Grease came out the excitement as we had never seen anything like Rydell high before.
We used to play out all day only going home when we were hungry but parents never worried because they knew we would be around somewhere. And adults looked out for you and shouted at you if you did anything wrong, you were scared to do anything wrong in case they told your parents.
