Anyone else awake and annoyed about it..?

I have a massive day at work tomorrow and need to be up at 5:30. My son who had to go out for a college event that he definitely didn’t want to go to (almost 18), has stumbled home pissed as a newt and is on the bathroom floor after spewing his guts up!

He’s full of ‘sorry mum’, ‘really sorry mum, you go back to bed’ and it isn’t like him at all but I’m so cross that I now won’t sleep in case he chokes on his vomit!

Not cross, very tired but have stomach pain so can't sleep.

Oh dear so you only have 2 hours before getting ready? Has son stopped vomiting yet?

Yes - OH away on a social trip left at 3am woke me up as he couldn't find his car keys. I panicked as I last had them... Wide awake searching and they where were they always are and should be. Grrr!!

Yep here too. Annoyed that I’m in pain so I can’t sleep!

Yes. Woke up having a panic attack as have so much going on. Less annoyed more anxious

Yes, another one with an early start and a big day at work. I ate too much before bed and feel sick now

Yep. Youngest had a bad dream and woke me up at 2am. Settled quickly but I just can't get back to sleep. Very busy day at work today and I have to be up at 445am

Awake for an hour now. Went to the breast cancer clinic a week ago. Told that I have abnormalities in right breast and need to go back for mammogram and ultrasound on two week cancer pathway. Still not heard about an appointment. Anxiety through the roof. Can't eat or sleep.

Long term illness is flaring up and I woke up with a racing heartbeat at 2am. Very scary. Has settled now but can’t sleep. No work tomorrow thankfully.

Yep. Found out yesterday that my job is at risk but also that other colleagues have been selected for redundancy. Feel shit for them and partially relieved for myself although far from safe. It’s all just horrible and uncomfortable and was communicated at a really inappropriate setting. I had a glass of wine and any drinking totally messes with my sleep so here I am. DS is in our bed and keeps nicking all the space. Am allowing myself to check out of work today to process then picking myself up next week with renewed energy and one eye on the job market.

@Passingout i did this to my mum once, many moons ago, although I was only 13 at the time and she had to put me in the bath and wash the vomit out of my hair. I your day isn’t too painful and your DS is ok.

Saw that Israel had attacked Iran
So can't go back to sleep have to be up in 20 minutes regardless

Me. My husband is battling an incredibly painful health condition and with the worry of the future, hearing him try to get through the night and the vast amounts of coffee Ive been drinking to cope with caring for him, the dog, the house, keeping adult DC informed and work Ive not managed more than 2 hours tonight.
Long drive to work. Im worn out.

Hope everyone is feeling OK today. Being on my own and in a panic, it was calming to know others were awake too
