Dads cheating on my mum

Not sure what I’m expecting to hear but just found out my dads cheating on my mum. My mums absolutely heartbroken and so am I

I’m married myself and can’t begin to think what she must be going through

Yeah she knows. I can’t begin to explain the heartbreak, I wish I could help my mum. All she has ever done was bring her kids up & be a devoted wife :(

Does she have a support network aside from you? Do you have other people you can speak to?

It's shit and 5 years on I still want to throttle my dad but slightly less than when we first all found out. She will be ok, you will too but it's a long road ahead

Unfortunately no :( I’m part of the Asian community this is never mentioned or spoken about. She has no apart from me to confide with. She came to this country when she married him, doesn’t know proper English.

We were such a tight knit family, and everything is just ruined. I don’t live with her so it feels worse knowing I’m not there to comfort her.
