Problems with Duolingo - does anyone have any advice?

I’m stuck - all I can do is the Daily Refresh. I’ve contacted Duolingo but there doesn’t seem to be any help. I can do the Daily Refresh each day but that’s about it. I can’t exit this screen and get back on track with the lessons. Does anyone have any advice? As I said, I’ve reported to Duolingo but they have said I won’t get a personal response.

Have you finished the course? I only get daily refresh but that's because I've run out of lessons to do. Some languages have more lessons than others. I can go back and re-do the lessons I've already done, or do them as 'legendary' but that's it.

I have that for one of my languages as I've completed the course. If you click on the little flag top left, do you get a little drop down menu to switch between languages or add another?

I’ve never seen that screen, maybe I haven’t got far enough in yet.

Have you tried switching your device off completely then back on, so it reloads the app? If that doesn’t work you could delete the app then reinstall it, that clears most problems. Your progress should be saved on the same login.

I didn’t think I had finished the course! I’ve got a couple more languages going on and they are fine. I’ve turned off my phone and back on again and still nothing.

Click on the words 'daily refresh' at the top of the screen and a drop down should appear showing each section with your progress. If you've finished them all then you'll only get daily refresh.

If you care about your place in the leagues it's really hard to keep up when you are limited to the daily refresh lessons as there's only so much XP you can earn.
