Does this notepad exist

I want a "to do" list book. I want it to be lined with a box to tick on each line when the task is complete but I want it to be a notepad with a hard cover. All to do lists I can find are note pads with no cover which are no good as they will end up tatty....

Those that do have hardcovers seem to have inspirational quotes and water intake trackers and other garbage I don't need....

Dammit. I just ordered a William Hannah notebook. They are just so beautiful and I couldn't resist. I absolutely blame @Doyouthinktheyknow 😂

🤣🤣

Excellent choice. I genuinely love mine so much😍 Hope you enjoy yours just as much.

Pretty sure these are the ones we have at work, which do the job well: Q-Connect Wirebound Things to Do Today Book 150x280mm https://amzn.eu/d/5JHnIml

Possibly a bit tall, though, if you're looking for A5.

I use a daily planner from Oh Deer (you can probably get from other places)

It's perfect for work, it has a to do list one side, with space for notes the next.. hard cover... The perfect note book for me!

Ordered one! I found it on urban outfitters on sale for £6 and plus postage it was dead on budget. Thanks all!!

Over budget but Filofax are great. You get the cover and then change the inverts so after the big initial cost it's not too bad. I've got the tick box to do list, budget. Notes. Diary. Contacts. Everything I used for work all in one Filofax. I know my phone does everything I need but there is something about paper and pen I can't give up!

Notebooks aren't really my thing (more SIL's thing) but I get frustrated trying to find reasonable ones which aren't with #bekind, good vibes only logos on the front too.

I hear you OP re written To Do Lists - I find them much easier to do written down in a notebook rather than on One Note or To Do app or similar.

I prefer pen and paper. I use it for work (combined with One Note etc) and interchange between the two. Seeing things written down helps me much more.

My SIL is similar re pen and paper, she much prefers it.

It's super annoying! I just wanted a plain "adult" one as they are all very childlike with fancy designs and inspirational quotes etc. I just want a sturdy notepad with check boxes and space to write notes without having tick boxes to track my water in take.....

I have one of the Oh Deer ones from Waterstones - I'm in love with it! It's perfect for what I was looking for and it feels solid, such a gorgeous notebook. It was a bit more expensive than I wanted to pay, but so worth it. Hope you enjoy yours!

honeyfox · 19/04/2024 15:03

Paper-oh do fabulous notebooks, I spent a lot lately as they had a great sale. None currently have a To-do list option but you're sorted so that's good!

I've recently realised how great these are and now have a mini and an A5 one. There's so many inserts and accessories, I think I might have just escalated my stationery buying problem.

Oooh yay! I will have to go and have a look at UO, I have been waiting for one of them to go into a sale at Oh Deer, as mine is filling up fast and I can't be without it for work.

This is PERFECT!!!!! slightly over budget but actually meets what I want exactly. Thank you

They do a good selection, don't they? Thanks @FlimFlambros for the idea.

Yellowbananasarebetterthangreen · 19/04/2024 17:30

Ive had this issue too - why are all the "to do" lists pads so tall and narrow. I want an A5 one.

Im now using an NU Study planner - it has three dividers which Ive found useful. Its A5 and spiral bound with a thick cardboard cover.

SkiingIsHeaven · 19/04/2024 17:45

Filofax with to do inserts??

mintich · 19/04/2024 18:42

Tesco sell them!

I was also highly irritated by the tall narrow ones! I have one from home bargains which I use for housework and shopping lists but they weren't ideal for work

God I am so boring Grin

I just use a lined day-to-view / day-to-a-page diary.

35mph · 20/04/2024 11:28

I love stationery. I have about 30 notebooks. Another one won't matter..

Me too! I love a notebook I do. I often find them brand spanking new in charity shops. My heart skips a beat!

I second the Ohh Dear daily planners and have used them for work for the past 3 years.

Me too. I've just bought a planner and a notebook.

Do I need them? No.

Do I already have lots of 'spare' planners, diaries, notebooks and other random stationery items. Yes, yes I do 🙄😂
