Yesterday my cat ate an entire rat.

Today, she has turned up her nose at catfood because I put it in the bowl her brother had just used without washing it first.

I had a cat in my 20s and she was a killer. She caught rats occasionally, but only at the brains (she wasn't a zombie) and neck. She did the same with a herring gull.

DM's cat is lazy, but occasionally will catch something. Normally it surprises her as much as the poor thing she's caught...

She eats birds whole but anything bigger she will drag through the cat flap to show off her prize (once she's killed it). She once left a giant rat outside DM's bedroom door who narrowly avoided stepping on it... I think it's worse when they're not really hunters as you're not going through life half-expecting to stumble upon a body...

My cat doesn't eat the rats and mice he catches. He will strip a bird completely to the bones. Apparently birds are a cordon bleu delicacy to cats.
My cat is vaxxed yearly and flea/wormed regularly (thank god)

My cat was once a rough stray street cat before he decided to settle down and live with me. He now only eats a specific wet food and only with a lik-e-lik on top, if I forget he’ll just stare and meow sadly at me.

Thankfully he doesn’t hunt but did have a half arsed attempt at catching a dragonfly last summer! Primordial pouch swinging as he ran down the garden, myself and the birds laughing at him knowing he hasn’t a cat in hells chance (he only has 2 teeth).

My old cat eat a squirrels head once. To be fair there must have been a massive fight as the cat had cuts to his face. We found the decapitated body later that day. Can only assume he did not like squirrel meat as he ate every mouse he could catch. Apart from the intestinal sack😬

I put fresh water out for my cat every morning and she looks at it as if I'm trying to make her drink bleach. She then goes outside and drinks the most scummy disgusting green stagnant water that she can find 🙄
