Can probably tell I’ve name changed!
Long shot I know, just wondering would there ever be a benign reason that bone marrow would come up on a PET-CT?
History:
Enlarged spleen uptake & bone marrow. Had biopsy today & told it’s 3 week for results.
It was a Radiologist who suggested bone marrow biopsy to heamotology.
(I’m an RN so a bad & impatient patient 🤣)
Asked haematologist but he said he doesn’t know either way - helpful.
I have chronic raised WBC but that’s my normal. RBC always fine.
He thinks it is probably ok but then said he doesn’t have answers if it is, that’s why I’m posting wondering is there such things as benign bone marrow uptake?
I understand without seeing the actual scan/report it’s hard to answer.
I feel so rotten & just want answers.
if it is normal then why would it show up if that makes sense?
If anyone can answer or message me it would mean so, so much. I don’t want to turn to Dr Google.
