When to send a follow up email?

I’ve contacted a florist about an event next May 2 weeks ago. I know it would be a bespoke quote so would take some time but should I be sending a follow up email to make sure they got the first one?

I would find someone else. Lack of response, even to set expectations on when you’ll receive your quote would make me concerned about how reliable they are as a supplier

I would send a follow up email, yes. But also be looking around at others. It's been the Easter holidays and realistically, even small business owners who are open, are potentially juggling family commitments and childcare.

That said, if they really wanted your business, they would be keen to respond. I think a follow up after a week would be appropriate.
