Where to buy modern armchairs / accent chairs

I need about 3 armchairs for my living room and a 2 Seater sofa / snuggler for my bedroom. I would like these to be fairly modern looking (think metal legs for the chairs) with armrests and a reasonably mid to high back.
Where can I see / test something in London before buying? Price range is less than £500 per chair and perhaps £600 for the sofa. I am thinking fabric although I do have young children.
Already seen Ikea, John Lewis, DFS, Dunelm. Priced out of places like West Elm, Bo Concept.

Have a look at 2pinkflamingoes - their stock is all ex-display or returns from some of the big furniture shops, which they sell at discounted prices. Some of it is a bit random but there might be something there that you like, or it might give you some ideas of other places to look at.
