Young child - itchy rash. Any tips?

Young child with Strep. Feeling miserable and the rash is really itchy which he’s struggling to not claw at.

I’ve got him in long sleeves and trousers so he’s not scratching at bare skin and I’m giving Piriton as advised by the GP.

Any other tips and tricks that may ease it for him?

Calamine lotion on the rash?
Topical antihistamine?

Speak to the pharmacy, they will be able to suggest products to help.
