all over social media are these otters koalas etc that have heartbeats and soft lights or music. I suffer badly from PTSD and other things meaning I rarely get much sleep and often wake up in a blind panic.
I heard that these can help as they soothe you but I was a bit put off when I saw they were fisher price, has anyone adult I mean used these? Oh think its a good idea and if I can find a good one will buy it for me. I did see dogs with them so if anyone can advise me thank you

I saw those yesterday! There are a lot of drop ship ones that come from China (I think the main brand is Evora), and I looked at the trustpilot reviews and they were terrible, so avoid those (apparently they are cheap and plasticky, nothing like the pictures and what is supposed to be a soothing noise is creepy and mechanical). If it was me I'd go for the Fisher Price one. I have no experience of actually using one, but I really like the idea.

I'm pretty sure that I saw some for pets in my local Tesco Extra yesterday. Maybe those ones will be slightly cheaper?

I know you wrote this a while ago, but I found a Fisher Price one on Vinted and paid about £10 plus postage. I just use the white noise function and find it very soothing, it’s relaxing even if you are awake for a while. I have fibromyalgia and am often in pain at night and it does help.
