Have you ever been sussed?

Love Mumsnet but am always curious to know if anyone’s ever been flamed in real life by someone they posted about who realised it was them? Surely it must be pretty high-risk with some posts even if names / details changed? (Barbara and the allotment tale springs to mind!)

Nope, never. I'm fairly vague with what I post though and very rarely start threads myself. I have recognised posts on here that I have also seen posted on facebook so it's easy to figure out who it is. Not even bothered to change the wording much.

i try to name change on a regular basis to avoid it.

Hasn’t happened to me but I often get nervous for people who make those big ‘personal issue’ posts and it ends up being shared on Facebook. Some of the situations are so specific.
