I don't like him.
But I just watched Tomorrow War and fuck me, is he handsome. Those arms.

But again he seems like a bit of a twat.

But his arms.

I may be ovulating presently so please excuse me. I needed to share.

I think we all agree op!!

CaptainCarrotsBigSword · 16/04/2024 19:08

Lots of people seem to dislike him, I don't know why? He seems alright enough to me. Didn't like that he left his wife when he started to get mega famous, but a) who knows the truth of any break up, and b) how many marriages last in Hollywood?

I loved him in Parks and Recreation, he was great at playing Andy, plus some of his improvised lines were hilarious.

And yes, arms.

BebehDuck · 16/04/2024 19:14

I think it's because ei read his first child has medical complications from his mums labour and when his 2nd baby was born he made a gushing post about his new wife managing to give him a healthy daughter.
Like his first wife had a haemorrhage on purpose 😐

Anna Faris his first wife admitted on a podcast she became jealous when his career started to eclipse hers, and she instigated their split.

As an admirer of manly arms, imo Chris Pratts are prime!

Ah I remember that. It seemed blown out of proportion; he said what a lot of people say when becoming parents. Isn't everyone happy to have a healthy baby? It didn't read as anything unpleasant to me. I'm pretty sure every birth announcement I've ever seen has talked about "happy and healthy" and ones from dads tend to gush about the mother doing this amazing thing of bringing life into the world.

Interesting about Anna Faris, it must be really hard to both be in the same job and suddenly have one of you go shooting up. Especially as she wasn't likely to be able to do anything close, already being 'old' in Hollywood terms, I guess.

DianaTaverner · 16/04/2024 19:25

I think your autocorrect is broken OP. It seems to have replaced "Hemsworth" with "Pratt". Or possibly you originally typed "Evans (not the DJ)"?

I really don't get the Evans and Hemsworth thing.

I just don't find them attractive at all.

Paul Rudd is lovely though if we're talking super heroes.

And Aquaman. Splish splash. 😁

CaptainCarrotsBigSword · 16/04/2024 19:28

Chris Evans yes. Hemsworth, a bit.

Jason Momoa? Oh yeah.

EineReiseDurchDieZeit · 16/04/2024 19:34

He and his ex wife had form for neglecting animals IIRC

I agree. Chris hemsworth...... yum! My youngest bought me a calendar of him - 12 months of Chris...

MrsKeats · 16/04/2024 19:43

He's horrible.
He knocked down a beautiful mid century home to put up a McMansion too.

ChampagneNightmares · 16/04/2024 19:43

I'm the same OP. Found him randomly attractive in some things. But he does give me the ick. Whenever I see him with female co-stars, i think the women always look uncomfortable in his presence.

APurpleSquirrel · 16/04/2024 19:45

I mean, if we're talking arms... Chris Evans/Captain America holding on to a helicopter...

That's exactly why I have no love for either of them.

I remember seeing him being interviewed and talking about how he kept trying to convince the director her should have his shirt off for this scene 😂 no idea why that idea was rejected!

APurpleSquirrel · 16/04/2024 19:49

@CaptainCarrotsBigSword Grin yes I read that. And that he completely buggered up his arm doing it too.

DramaLlamaBangBang · 16/04/2024 19:52

I find all of the Chris's a bit... errr. Pratt- animals, Evans-boring himbo, Hemsworth- Ok actually. Funny in Avengers Endgame. Look cute with his kids. Agree about Paul Rudd. Knocks any of the Chris's into a cocked hat!

If Anna Farris’ cousin had made a post about having a happy and healthy baby no one would blink an eye.

But a Dad who has a child who is a half sibling of one with born with health complications? I would expect him to think about it a lot harder - times a billion if you’re an Avenger who’s social media would be scrutinised to that extent.

he’s also made comments about leaving their cats behind when moving as they would scratch the new baby - and also fairly strong religious mutterings. These are from memory but he comes across as a berk. And I don’t doubt be thinks blessings come to ‘better people’.

Sammysquiz · 16/04/2024 20:44

I agree he’s a bit of a knob, but I find him very attractive too. He comes across well in interviews, he’s very funny. Didn’t know about the animal abuse stuff though.

MrsTerryPratchett · 16/04/2024 20:55

I was a Hemsworth aficionado until I watched the documentary about sharks he did. That should have been impossible to fuck up. Sharks - good. Hemsworth - good. Hemsworth in a wetsuit, undone to the waist - very good.

He managed to make sharks boring. That is borderline impossible. I wonder if it is actually possible to have a body like that while being interesting. I mean you must be up at 6am, running, eating kale, not drinking... boring.

Momoa is cut about 50% of the time. Probably more interesting.

BebehDuck · 16/04/2024 21:04

Mamoas downtime beer belly is very attractive.

Omg yes I watched Limitless with Chris Hemsworth (tried to at least)

he is the most boring man, like a robot programmed to be utterly unremarkable but pass for a human.

Surely not as boring as Harrison Ford? He must be an amazing actor cos when he's interviewed....yawn! My grandson insisted for years that the name was Crisp Rat and it got so I could see some rodent-like similarities.

BebehDuck · 16/04/2024 22:31

Crisp Rat 😂😂😂
