Anyone been to Roquetas de mar?

Hi,

Looking at spending a week in Roquetas de mar as we want to do a day trip to the Alhambra Palace. DH doesn't want to be right in the thick of the resort and would prefer to be by the Marina. Can anyone recommend any hotels? Also open to any other suggestions for Almeria. Want to be able to walk to restaurants etc.

From what I remember down by the marina it's a bus ride from the main resort. The resort itself is very Spanish, lots of natives were there, barely saw any other foreigners the whole time there (which was good for me) and we were there in June. The Alhambra was about an hours coach trip away I think but worth the journey.
We stayed in the resort and all the restaurants were all along the seafront (literally a meter or two from it). This was a few years ago now so can't recall the hotel but it was nice.
