Lip sucking

How can I discourage my 17month old son from lip sucking..Is becoming a habit 😢

Why is it a problem, is it creating a physical issue with his lips, is he also biting them or something?

He isn’t biting them just sucking the lower lip which he doesn’t use to do that before,just not sure if this can become something to worry about in the future or not .

This isn't an issue. Your DC isn't doing themselves any harm so I'd just leave them be.
