Pretty much the same a you.
I have chipolata sausages and streaky bacon to make some pigs in blankets at some point.
Plus I have a packet of sausage meat left over from Christmas. I intend to make that into sausage rolls.
I have a few containers of homemade chicken stock. And a few tubs of stewed rhubarb from last year's crop. Better eat that before this year's is ready!

Mactoba · 16/04/2024 14:18

Pretty much identical to yours except I have steaks instead of lamb. Also some other bread products such as wraps, bagels, crumpets, scotch pancakes…

I don’t understand why it’s so full!

LifeInAHamsterWheel · 16/04/2024 14:23

Several unidentified packages of odd shaped ‘things’ . I keep meaning to bin them, but I’d have to defrost them first so they could go in the food bin ,and I always think about this at the end of the day rather than the morning. ? 🐗🐆🦬 can’t remember.

we also have a lot of steak because we buy a whole fillet and portion it, ditto salmon, smoked salmon, Parmesan, smoked chicken, goats cheese ( all these come in big quantities but are worth it). Bags of Peas, broad beans, blueberries .Frozen Pastry: filo and flaky ( bought) shortcrust ( homemade in four lots).

Quite a lot of Speck too, which was bought on the same principle bit has proved less useful👨‍🍳

A whole load of stuff, none of which is sufficient for a meal for two people. One pork chop, blackberries, bread rolls, ancient broad beans, two fish fingers, chicken stock - a whole bunch of pointless articles.

Found all of my 4yo's spiderman figures in the freezer, apparently they had been naughty 😝

MrsTerryPratchett · 16/04/2024 15:31

Very proud of myself. There are a couple of freezer bags with homemade chicken, marinade and sauce so that at any point I can produce one in a flourish and make dinner.

This is unusual, hence the gloating.

Yozzer87 · 16/04/2024 15:43

I've got a fridge freezer and a chest freezer. In the chest freezer I've got pizzas, oven chips, chicken nuggets, chicken dinosaurs, fish fingers, sausages, burgers, curly fries, potato waffles, bags of steam veg, salmon fillets, white fish fillets, frozen ready meals, ice cream, hash browns, chicken fries, sausage rolls, pies. Once stuff is opened I transfer to the fridge freezer, otherwise I end up with open bags shoved at the bottom and they never get used up.

Half of Tesco. I have a chest freezer and fridge freezer and they're both embarrassingly rammed. There's everything from frozen herbs to random reduced meats and impulse purchases.

Sugar and flour?

If you keep them in the freezer until opening, they kill any pantry moths. Since I’ve been doing this I haven’t had pantry moths in years.
