Ladram Bay or Haven Devon Cliffs

Does anyone have experience of these holiday parks? DH prefers the sound of Devon Cliffs but I've always been put off Haven as the one I grew up near was as rough as you could get. Ladram Bay sounds quieter and nicer overall but I have no idea if the location is a good base.

I've only been to Devon Cliffs, and it was about 6 years ago, but we loved it, really big, lots to do, great little holiday!

We stayed at Ladram Bay last year and found it to be a nice site, lots to do for kids and amenities are good but we're disappointed that dogs couldn't go on the beach. It's advertised as a dog friendly site but with them not being allowed on their private beach means you have to drive elsewhere to take the dogs out. It meant we had to separate a lot as a family while one parent took dogs and one parent took kids. For that reason we wouldn't go again

Have been to Devon Cliffs quite a few time. We love it there but be warned, the slope to the beach is very steep.
