Eye colour help?

Dipsydoodlenoodle · 16/04/2024 00:08

What colour are these eyes?

All belong to the same person, taken over the last few days, all in natural light...but they all appear to be so different. Their eyes are so difficult to pinpoint a colour in real life...

Help (please).

Hazel

I think they are hazel - but on the green end of the hazel spectrum!

Beautiful eyes 🙂

Seacatt · 16/04/2024 01:11

Light brown.

PeaceOnThePorch · 16/04/2024 01:51

They’re hazel.

Shades of green

InAMillion · 16/04/2024 02:09

Hazel falls under green if you need to add it to passport or some sort of official documentation

HeadsShouldersTitsandArse · 16/04/2024 02:10

Green.
Hazel is a mixture of colours green/gold/brown ect. These eyes look solid in colour and more on the green side to me.

Hazel/Green.

They are like DS2's eyes which can even look dark blue in certain lights. It took me years to work out his eye colour!

Glad it's not just us then.

They look grey.

Light brown/golden

Green

Can't decide what they actually are :(

I'd say green. Green tends to be susceptible to varying with different qualities of light.

I'd use hazel to describe more distinct variations of colour within the eye that are always evident.

HeadsShouldersTitsandArse · 17/04/2024 04:12

These are my hazel eyes OP. There’s quite an obvious change in colour from green to brown.

Your pictures are definitely more of a solid colour, which like all eyes will look different shades in different lights, but I think they’re still green rather than hazel :)

My son has green/hazel eyes and they look totally different after a shower, if he’s cried, when he’s outside. It’s so odd and fun.

sashh · 17/04/2024 04:50

I would say green.

My dad has green eyes but depending on what he wears his eyes can appear different colours. A blue jumper and you would swear he has dark blue eyes.

Hols24 · 17/04/2024 05:05

How old is he, and what colour are your and your partner's eyes?

I suspect they may be still "on the turn" and may end up brown.

twoforj0y · 17/04/2024 05:20

Green

Mine are attached....as they are different

Partners are blue.

My dd had blue eyes at birth which changed to green and gradually a darker and darker green until she was about 8 when they went brown and stayed brown.

You have central heterochromia which is why there's a clear shift between brown and green (same as me)
