Anyone in Amsterdam? Please help us track down pink teddy for heartbroken dd

Had to fly back without Joe this evening - dd cried for two hours. He's been her favourite all her life.

She thinks she left him on canal boat - we went to the pier and the kind man phoned round several of the stops but he hadn't been handed in.

We thought she'd left him in Stacy's Pennywell brasserie on the corner of Utrechtsestraat and Herengracht but we went back there too and they hadn't found him.

We'll ring again tomorrow but is there a city lost property office or similar we could try as well? Will ring tourist info and ask them too.

Any advice welcome, fingers crossed

If you send me a picture I'll try and make one for you.

Thank you very much for the offer. I'll certainly try to find a good pic. But he's quite faded and worn - his nose has been practically kissed away! We'll need to try every avenue to find him first.

The offer's open if you can't find him. Just shout out. I can make him look worn, it's shocking what you can do with a nail file. I hope you do find him.

Well he definitely hasn't been handed in from the canal boat or the cafe. We are on to the city lost property office, the railway lost property office and the trams now.

Getting increasingly desperate - any ideas, anyone?

Please can kind people keep this bumped for me this evening? There must be some way we can harness the power of the internet

Fingers crossed

He hasn't been handed in on the tram, or at the train station. We're running out of ideas

avenanap, we've just had another tearful bedtime (my shirt front is all wet ). I told dd about your offer and she was overjoyed. So I'd like to say yes please. We have dozens of photos so I'll sort out the best tomorrow. Thanks a million. Can I CAT you?
