Where's warm, has a v short flight and is fairly cheap for a May Day long weekend?

Would just like a bit of sun, preferably on a coast somewhere, fo 3 nights at the most, so don't want to spend a fortune or a lot of time travelling to the destination.

Am assuming Spain or France are our best bets, but any recommendations?

Two adults, no kids

Lisbon. Hearing very good things about the city, it's not expensive and there's a nice beach resort town close by.
