Should I be worried about Cyprus

Due to go away in 3 weeks and I know it's not too far from Israel.. what's the likelihood of holidays being cancelled ??
I mean I know someone who's off to Egypt in a couple of days and that's alot closer to the conflict but I am an over thinker !!

Cyprus is probably one of the safest places.

Due to the Longlasting border dispute you've got the NATO peacekeepers.
You've got the British army separate to that.
The Turkish (Muslim) and Cypriot (Christian) sides are trying to sort the dispute.

No one wants to attack there

(Plus the Russians like it as a holiday destination!)

Cyprus is a lot closer to Syria than Israel and there's been a civil war ongoing there for years.

Cyprus does not share any land borders with Israel or any other countries that have suffered conflict within their own countries and with neighbours on and off for decades.

No.

You don't have to fly over Israeli airspace to get to Cyprus so I can't see why it would be effected.

Thank you everyone. I know it seems daft but we've been trying to get back to Cyprus for years, we love it there ! And something always seems to happen, so when I saw Iran had targeted Israel I (selfishly) started to worry
