Bored of my own style

I'm not too bad with work clothes as there's a dress code but when I'm off work it's either jeans, leggings for exercise or more jeans! I really struggle to know what to wear otherwise and find myself coming home after clothes shopping with a standard 'uniform' of a new pair of jeans, white top, striped shirt etc. I see loads of women with great, interesting style but I don't know how to do it. I also never wear jewellery, not much make up either. How do I go about developing a new style? Thanks

Watching with interest as I feel exactly the same!

Post this in Style and Beauty, you’ll get lots of advice. Pinterest is my favourite - pin things you like the look of (search ‘casual spring wardrobe’ or whatever) then it will start to show you more and you can build up an idea of what you want and use it as a reference.

I have tried over the years to cultivate some style but accepted that I don’t care enough to make the effort. Cultivate an off work uniform that works for you. That actually what a lot of stylish people do.

When I look at stylish people it’s the details. The belts, scarves, bits of jewellery. Good hair. Good shoes. Trench coat instead of anorak.

I always come back to my jeans though. Nothing is easier than jeans annd leggings. Are we going to be a generation of octogenarian women in jeans and leggings?

Thanks all. I'm going to post this in style and beauty!
