My family and I are going to Dorset in the summer for a cousin's 50th birthday. This family member needs to use a wheelchair for any sort of trip involving signficant walking, but they can walk some distance such as around a supermarket.
They are feeling unsure about what they would be able to do on this trip, which is a long weekend, so it would be nice to be able to present some suggestions. I would like to hear from anyone with ideas from their own holidays, and accommodation also if you have any ideas.
We are looking at things like Corfe Castle, the heritage railway, perhaps going on a beach if we can find one that has access etc.
Any help appreciated, and apologies if there is a better thread to move this to.
