It's alright - did a good job of cleaning a stain on the stair carpet and a spillage on the sofa and will be great for dealing with cleaning up after doing the washing machine filter where all that water comes out. I think the crevice tool will be useful for cleaning edges.

However - the rotating brush on the pet one is almost impossible to get back off again, as the fixing is a hard piece of plastic. It's also very hard work on your hands to operate the thing if you have any issues with grip strength or arthritis. It would be less hard work if the hose were longer.

I suspect the most efficient way of dealing with stains is to use a bowl of warm water and carpet cleaner with a rubber hand brush, then use the machine with just clean water to rinse and remove as much fluid as possible afterwards.

We as a retailer sell a lot of the vax carpet washers and reviews say how brilliant they am . You do really need the proper vax solution aswell which we sell even more of that so sales speak for themselves I guess. Look at reviews online.

thanks for taking time to answer 👍
i was thinking if buying really for spot marks on rug/headboard etc small jobs
onky because when I bought the vanish spray thing I’ve been left with a mark on the rug

if it stops this - great.
Or even if it sucks up the water
after doing it yourself with bowl of water

sorry I don’t believe reviews online as people get paid to write them , and I’d rather get it truthfully from someone who has actually got one

We bought one when ddog was ill and vomiting yellow bile daily (sorry TMI) and we were waiting for the vet hospital referral.

It was good for spot washing the carpet, but essentially all it is is a machine that sprays the warm (from tap) water/solution on the carpet and then sucks it up. It does that job well. You could see the marks where it had been used so eventually we had to get the whole carpet cleaned too, but ours was quite an extreme use case.

The solution you use is also important. The Vax solution and also Rug Doctor solutions were very good.
