Barking dog

I’ve lived at my house for :20, years it’s so nice and peaceful…lately there has been a dog that consistently barks a went and asked the person responsible for the dog if they could kindly not leave there dog in the garden all day barking it’s disturbing the peace and it’s just not right she just smiled and shut the door next steps please as it is still going on …my anxiety it through the roof

Keep a noise diary, video evidence and contact the council.
DM had a relative stay with her with an annoying yapping dog, they brought it in each time it barked but they still got a letter from the council. DM was mortified.
