I want to cuddle upto DH and watch a movie but can't be arsed with 30 mins of trying to find something.

Maybe a mystery? Thriller? But not a full on horror.

Not a film but I really enjoyed Renegade Nell and there aren't that many episodes. Written by Sally Wainwrights who did Happy Valley, Last Tango in Halifax etc although is completely different to those.

Arrival on Netflix is an exceptional film

Have you watched Bank of Dave? Definitely not a thriller but an enjoyable film.

We are watching some slightly less recent films at the moment...
Paycheck (Amazon Prime)
Source Code (Netflix)
Enemy of the state (Disney +)
Unstoppable (Disney +)
Deja Vue (Disney +)

All pretty decent films. Unstoppable was my favourite, Deja Vue was DH's.

Wish on Disney is nice.
I like all the Netflix true crime stuff. The Night Stalker was good.

Cristall · 13/04/2024 20:59

We watched The Artful Dodger mini series on Disney and really enjoyed it.

Uncharted on Netflix was also a fun adventure romp, as was Damsel.

katmunchkin · 13/04/2024 21:00

Law Abiding Citizen
Limitless

DianaTaverner · 13/04/2024 21:00

The Martian?

Maybe Annihilation if you enjoyed Arrival.

SunshineOnARainyDay3 · 13/04/2024 21:03

Glass Onion with Daniel Craig, Netflix
Jerry & Marge Go Large, poss on Disney or Amazon (its based on a true story of a couple who find a loophole in the American lottery and keep winning)

DianaTaverner · 13/04/2024 21:04

ooh yes, Knives Out and Glass Onion are perfect if you haven't seen them.

bellamountain · 13/04/2024 21:13

A Good Year with Russell Crowe on Disney + was an enjoyable watch the other evening.

BlackAmericanoNoSugar · 13/04/2024 21:15

I'm watching Wine Country on Netflix and enjoying it so far.

DoneAdulting · 13/04/2024 23:00

Fall (on Netflix)

charabang · 13/04/2024 23:36

I've just watched Totally Killer which is sort of Back to the Future time travel comedy horror on Prime. Great story and keeps you guessing all the way through.

MarilynBoo · 13/04/2024 23:42

Too late for tonight but Master and Commander on Disney+ is superb.

RazzleDazzleEm · 13/04/2024 23:43

Shogun, Disney.

Tovtoday · 13/04/2024 23:45

Memento, Cam, Atlantics. All on Netflix!
