Acrylics Anyone had pain

I am on my Fourth set of acrylics no probs before but two days after having this new set I’m getting arm pain ( both arms) heaviness in hands I asked the person who owns the nail salon could it be the acrylics he said sometimes they can cause pain in fingers Anyone else had this, I’m tempted to wait a couple more days to see if calms down if not they will be taken off
Are gels better, or should I go back to painting them.

Have you got tips on? Or just acrylic? I can't use the tips as my nails are too flat? I had them a couple of times and for days afterwards my nails would hurt. Got a new technician who told me why and just uses the acrylic on me now.

Tried them once and awful pain for two days then it settled down. Nine months later I've nearly grown out the damage. It changed my nail bed colour (paler) and I had lots of little black lines. Honestly I'd stick to gel.
