Does anyone else find the Spotify app really confusing?

Or am I just getting old? I just always seem to end up with loads of podcasts that I dont really want and no way to get rid of them without marking them as "played". It doesnt seem very intuitive at all.

(Apologies for lack of apostrophes but I cant write them unless I steal them from a previous poster....or maybe that is technical incompetence on my part too!)

Are you mostly streaming? I listen to 3 different podcasts on Spotify but I download them and turn it to offline mode again as soon as I have done. Then filter the library to downloaded and podcasts and all that's there is what I want.

Yes, I do that but I still would prefer for Spotify not to suggest any new episodes to me either!

I'm not sure what that means. I don't see any suggestions. On the home screen I see a blue dot next to the name of something I've listened to before if there's a new episode available but it doesn't get automatically downloaded or anything so I don't see anything else anywhere.

It will suggest things on your Home Screen but if you only want to see the stuff you've chosen to listen to, use the 'Your Library' screen and that only shows your own playlists, and the music, podcasts and audiobooks you've selected/liked.
