Where did you meet? How old were you? How long have you been friends? What made you close? Have you ever fallen out or do you always get along? How often do you see each other?

I don't have one and I want to live vicariously through others tbh! Same as I don't have a close or loving family so I go on TikTok and watch videos of big families all reacting to a pregnancy announcements and things. I can't imagine that type of life.

I have two best friends who I see on a one to one basis. I met both when my DC were very young, so about 22 or so years ago.
I have never fallen out with them, I see each of them every two weeks and text them a couple of times per week too.
They greatly enhance my life particularly as I live in an all male household.
We talk about anything and everything and I never feel judged.

I'm part of a trio and we're at almost 30 years now (not even sure how that is possible? It's flown!!)

The other 2 knew each other before but welcomed me with open arms.

We've been through all the usual "life" highs and lows (children, losing parents, marriage, divorce) and we don't see each other in person that often as one has moved abroad just before covid but we have a deep, endless love for each other.

We've never had a serious falling out but we have healthy disagreements from time to time. I always hear how trio's end up with one person being left out but for us it's always worked. It's never, ever been 2 against 1. The rare arguments have been friend 1 and 2 having a tiff and friend 3 is the voice of reason.

I've travelled with one of them and lived with the other (they've also briefly lived together but it was only a stop gap) but they have a hobby in common I've never been involved in.

Both are arty and educated but one is very rational, pragmatic and reasoned the other is flamboyant, eternally optimistic and the kindest soul I know. They are my ying and yang.

Our friendship just works and always has done. It's a constant source of comfort and joy in my life.
