EPC- what will happen?

I live in a rental property. It has an EPC of E. it is double glazed, warm and cost, my energy bill for a 3 bed terrace is £150 a month when my disabled daughter is home all day. Combi boiler.
The only suggestions on the Cert to improve it are LED lights and Solar panels, but it states will still be E and only has the potential to be E.
So what will happen? If it cannot be made a C will we be made homeless if he's not allowed to let it? I don't think my daughter would cope with that? I'm suddenly very worried. Does anyone know?

If the cost to make the improvements is over a certain amount they won't have to do it. Solar panels will be over the amount. Just another paperwork exercise costing more money to landlords which ends up making higher rentals. Don't worry.

Funding improvements to your propertyThe cost cap: you will never be required to spend more than £3,500 (including VAT) on energy efficiency improvements.
If you cannot improve your property to EPC E for £3,500 or less, you should make all the improvements which can be made up to that amount, then register an ‘all improvements made’ exemption.
