Cooked a roast chicken that was use by today for dinner. Smelled fine when I got it out the packet and initially when it was cooking but, with hindsight, a bit sour the longer it cooked.

Went to carve it after it had rested for a bit and it smelled really bad on one side, very dirty and quite game-y. DH refused to eat it and he'll usually eat anything, so it's gone in the bin.

I'm emetophobic so definitely not the most rational about this stuff, but before we realised it was off I ate some of the veggies that were cooking in the tray with the chicken (so had obviously soaked up the butter and juices from the chicken). Anyone got any idea what the likelihood is that I'm going to get sick? I can't work out if it's my anxiety talking or if I really do need to prepare myself for 72hrs tied to the bathroom... 😬

Och you had to say you're emetophobic! I was all ready for winding you up ;-) You'll likely be fine.
