Boring - what's a good pram/buggy suitable from newborn?

Sorry for boring thread but I'm totally overwhelmed by choice and want recommendations from actual people. 22 weeks with second baby and need a pram/buggy suitable from birth. I don't drive but DH does so we have a car mostly only used at weekends. In the week I walk and use the bus (live in a city). Elder child is 7 so no need for buggy board or anything like that. Ideally something that is easy to fold down and folds down relatively small - I had a babyzen yoyo with my eldest which we found great but it was a bit flimsy and would have preferred a bigger shopping basket.

Any recommendations?! Doesn't really matter on budget if it's a decent one.

My DS is 12 now, but I loved my Uppababy. They’re indistructable and look great. Really good storage underneath too.

Joie Chrome. They do a full travel system with car seats and stuff. It's parent and outward facing and it handles excellently. Got mine from online4baby and they delivered really fast. Good luck

Yeah, love my uppababy vista

I bought the Joolz Aer plus in very similar circumstances as yours. The newborn mode is sturdier than the Yoyo I used for my eldest and has a bigger basket. For trips into the city centre I do swap back to the Yoyo as it's easier to carry on steps.

Once you move into buggy mode the Joolz folds down as small as the Yoyo and is actually slightly lighter.

Another vote for Uppababy Vista! The basket space is amazing.

Cosatto Wow is great. Best thing is their industry leading 4 yr guarantee.

Uppababy Cruz? It’s bigger and studier than the YoYo but not a huge tank like the Vista so still good for the bus and folds relatively small. You can use the seat from birth with an insert or get the bassinet so similar to the YoYo in that respect too.

We have the Uppababy Cruz and it's been great since our baby turned about six months old.

But before that, baby hated being in the carrycot and much preferred being in a sling.

I also much preferred the sling as baby was close and I could hop on and off buses, walk through the park on muddy footpaths, go into and out of shops easily, etc I felt much more free.

So I regret worrying about buying a pram before birth and would wait until the baby was here if I could do it again.

The only exception was I had a c section and used the carry cot in the first week to get to the health visitor. But after that, never used it really. So possibly rent or borrow a pram for first few weeks, see if you then prefer the sling, and decide?

I have really liked our bugaboo dragonfly. It is not as compact as the yo yo but feels sturdier and does fold relatively small and one handed. It has been fine to get on and off buses. I don't drive either but also fits in the boot of our small car for weekends. Unfortunately my baby hated the bassinet and I used a sling and baby carrier until around 4 months when it felt safe to change to the buggy seat.

We have the bugaboo fox and it's brilliant. We still use it and he is nearly 2. The basket is super roomy so I could do a massive shop with it when I didn't have the car in the week (partner uses the car for work). I walked about 15k steps a day with it during maternity leave.
