Apologies wasn't sure where to put this so opted for chat.
We are in a position where we are due to remortgage including help to buy coming in to be repaid.
In short we are looking from going from a very low mortgage to a very high mortgage for a house that doesn't really work for us (now too small, no option to extend, realistically needs new carpets, doors and general maintenance).
We want to move but realistically in order to maximise our money we need to move away. We have an area picked out where we can go to a much bigger house for the same price we will pay now and have some money behind us from our house sale.
Problem we have is DS is in year R at school, he has settled in really well and the school have been amazing.
Has anyone else moved their DC in year R, did it disrupt them terribly/was it the wrong decision.
DH and I only have to go into the office once a month and would try and book 6 days off to coincide with these days so would work out going in every other month which is achievable just a long commute!
Can anyone tell me that we would be doing the right thing by thinking this or is it stupid to do this! We have been going back and forwards for the last 2 years and we now have to make a decision!
