My dad's other daughter sent police to my house and I can't get over it

...this was 2 years ago.
We have the same dad but different mums.
She really doesn't like me and makes sure I am excluded from any family stuff. She is about 20 years younger than me.
She used to say stuff when she was younger about my mother being a " prostitute " and me being " probably illegitimate ".

Anyway my daughter and her child were staying with me for about a year before I asked her to leave. She went to stay with a friend and didn't tell me where. I told my dad this and he went and shared it all with his family.

His two daughters ( I suppose my " half sisters " only their mum always made out that we weren't related) despite not having seen my daughter for 10 years, got her and her child on a video call, demanded an address from her ' to send a present'. Despite talking to her and the baby and being assured they were fine, They then sent police on a welfare check, only she had given them my address. So on two consecutive nights I had police hammering at my door at 2am. The police told me the name of who had sent them and I said yes that's my half sister who hasn't seen my daughter for 10 years.

The whole "family " then refused to pick up the phone or speak to me about it.

It was sad as I was getting on well with dad. Now I have only seen him about twice since. Its so awkward to visit. Apparently I have "fallen out" with them! According to my dad's manchild son anyway. The first time I went down to see him after this incident his wife blanked me and sat in the lounge until we had left.( me and my son) OK I might have told her daughter why she got kicked out of uni in the 60s lol. So much for " free love".

Dad always gossiped about me to them. In fact he is a terrible old gossip or I wouldn't have known that stuff about his wife.

Now he could have a stroke and they wouldn't even let me know. He is in his late 80s.

We have never been invited to join them for any family celebrations or holiday or Christmas and I know its the other daughter who has been instrumental in this.

I can't get over it. It was the whole family blanking me after. It was the police entering my house and lifting duvets to check beneath. Gd knows what she said to them.

It's just destroyed what was left with my dad. I think that was the idea.

That sounds awful, she seems very cruel. I wouldn't be surprised if your dad allows this because he wants an easy life, hopefully you can have a relationship with your dad separate to them.

That's the problem you see he is not really allowed that. My daughter says he keeps a " trap phone" to contact people not on the approved list. She means a separate phone not that he is a dealer

But yes he does it for an easy life. She lives really nearby and uses their family house as a drop in centre for her children . I haven't seen her since she told my 11 year olds that I was a " cunt ". Long-time. They are 25 now.

Honestly, I would walk away now. They will never change.

Well your DF may be in his late 80s but honestly sounds like it's a case of make your bed and lie in it! Over the years he has stood by while his family have treated you badly so I would simply cut contact with the lot of them and be done. It's a shame about your DF but I simply couldn't be doing with the sheer nastiness of it all. You can still send him messages etc to tell him you love him and are thinking of him, but don't give out any personal information.
