Prison release

Dd ex has been in prison due to DV . She was told he's being realised in May. All the contact emails from the police say may. Then she got an email that said April. And she messaged back saying do you mean may. And he said yes may . Sorry typo . And that her ex will be gate arrested. Due to some other stuff . Dd was on social media where you can scroll public videos and she saw him. So now we think he's been released. But no one has told dd that.

does she have a victim liaison officer, IDVA or contact details for probation (if he's subject to an order)? is there a non mol or restraining order in place?
it must be upsetting not to be certain if he is out and about or not. i can only suggest contacting anyone and everyone to get clear answers and any concerns at all he is trying to make contact with her to contact the police

Yeah she does . Restraining order is in place. I think she's more annoyed that she has been told may. Even when double checked with them was told sorry definitely may . Then the fact she was told he was being gate arrested so she thought she did not need to worry for a bit. Just have to wait for a reply I guess .

I hope your DD is okay and is able to access the support she needs to feel safe.

If that is the case you would think the policeman in touch with dd would know that. He's been in quite alot on contact with her recently. So it's a bit bad really.

When he's been arrested in the past he normally ends up in prison on remand because he's a flight risk. Also breaks the restraining order. Only guessing at the point though. I guess we will find out soon .
