Hello all
My 79 year old Dad had some breathlessness and went to the GP yesterday. They sent him to A&E where he's been diagnosed with a minor heart attack.
No heart attack sounds "minor" to me and I'm spiralling a bit. He's got no other major health issues other than being on a statin for high blood pressure. He's in fairly decent shape and exercises regularly.
I just wondered if anyone could tell me what next steps are likely to be and share any experiences they have had. The only experience I know of was from my late grandfather who died of his fourth heart attack in as many years back in the 90s (not Dad's dad, other side of the family).
Thanks in advance for any words of wisdom.
