What more can I do to help my exhausted bumblebee?

I came down to the kitchen this morning to find this absolutely exhausted bumblebee on my window sill, poor little thing.

I gave her a big blob of sugar water and she has been sipping it up every now and then but the poor love still looks like she’s completely spent. I imagine this horrible gusty wind has taken it out of her.

It’s been a couple of hours now and she’s still not fully perked up, I fear I may not have been able to get to her in time. Don’t suppose there is much more I can do for her is there?

What more can I do to help my exhausted bumblebee?

Give it time, if it's had sugar water that should do the trick 😁

Other than the queen, bumblebees don't live long - only a few weeks. If it warms up, dries out and gets some food it may perk up, but it may have reached the end of its time.

It must have done the trick as she’s disappeared from the windowsill.

I’ve left the door open so hopefully she’ll find her way out and get to live another day.
