TUI - luggage over weight?

Has anyone flown with TUI and their luggage been a kilo or so over the weight limit? If so what happened, did they let it go, impose charges or make you take some stuff out of your case?
Thanks

Yes, didn't question it

Yes, it's fine. If they start talking about charges just unzip your case and start faffing round. They'll just tell you to put it on

Worst case scenario is that you take stuff out and wear it….will only be a couple of items if it’s only 1kg

Yes, pretty much every time we've gone away since having DS. Never been charged yet or asked to remove anything.

This is reassuring! I'm trying to stick to the weight limit but struggling haha. Will aim to though. Happily just read that hand luggage is 10 kg when I thought it was 7 kg so that will help.
