Decent white plates/ bowls etc.? Ikea?

I need to get some new and am trying to embrace white (people say food looks better on them, easier to match - colour wise - if some get broken), but I’m not totally feeling it. I worry that they'll look boring and cheaper ones remind me of canteens…

I’m more of a Denby type person, but can't afford them at the moment and the ones I have left are chipped and are mismatched (because I couldn’t get them anymore), so I’m leaning towards white.

Need to be able to go in the dishwasher/ microwave.

IKEA crockery gets scratch marks very quickly.

I’ve used plain white for years due to matching up. IMO IKEA is shit, the plates mark or chip easily.

I’ve been using the M&S Maxim range for the last few years and if I break a piece it’s really easy to replace it reasonably. Hard wearing and look good and I only break pieces when I knock them on my stone worktops by accident.
