They've come to stay with us for a couple of weeks, so far he has:

fixed the dishwasher
fixed the cooker hood
fixed the extractor fan in the bathroom
replaced a light switch and plug socket

He is currently cleaning my oven!!

He can't sit still and can't bear seeing things that need fixing, he's much more useful than dh😁

how exciting! so pleased for you, so many people harp on and complain about in laws etc so its refreshing for someone to share a good experience xx

Offer to buy her the engagement ring and get her to propose ASAP. It's still a leap year 🤣

I love my future son in law too.

So different from my ex (DDs father).

Whenever they used to come up to stay with us when I was still with ex, he always was offering to help, and would clear the plates and fill the dishwasher.

We used to have a really big summer party once a year. I would usually end up in bed by 1 or 2am, but my husband would continue to party til 4 or 5am. I would always be the one up first and would need to spend a couple of hours clearing up glasses, bottles, food etc and fill the dishwasher.

First time they stayed over for a party,I came down to find her boyfriend had already been up for an hour and had started the cleanup!

There’s lots of other lovely things about him I love.
