The rules of the game are simple. Everyone is playing the game at all times. The aim is to forget the game exists / you are playing the game. If you remember you are playing the game (because some fucker mentions it on Mumsnet maybe) you have lost. If you lose the game you must announce you have lost.

Once you've lost you are not out of the game forever though. You are still playing!

No escape.
