Hi

Sure v conmon!

Basically have a great life. Married 20yrs , had 3 kids in 20s (1 adhd which is tiring).

Some family his side, mine toxic

Both have good well paid jobs but higher stress/ longer hours now. Cant go PT. Done well for ourselves etc

Basically graduated 20yrs ago, hit 40 birthday. Kids now 10-15 ages. Kind of what next?

I want to move to seaside, isnt possible until youngest is 18 (state school not great but keep them there). I have thyroid issue so hard to lose weight, still 3st overweight after baby 3 trying Mounjaro. We both have friends and go for nights out etc and I went to Malaga last year

I guess just lack of direction? I do go to church sometimes. We've started counting down to retirement hopefully mid 50s and saving for that and kids uni.

DH wants to develop a plot in our garden into a house sell and retire esrly (pay off main mortgage) as neighbours opposite have down. I just cant be bothered.

Is it just this age ? Maybe should have had kids older. Or maybe long work hours and managing kids taken its toll.

Sounds very peri. And if so, then yes, it’s your age. Push against it and do things,
