I am posting this in case there is a very small chance anyone has seen this bunny and picked her up as I have run out of ideas. On Saturday 30th March between about 7-9pm my daughter lost her beloved bunny toy somewhere airside in Heathrow Terminal 5. We noticed just as our plane was leaving for a 13 hour flight. We’re not due back for another week. It had an AirTag on it but the battery was very low and stopped tracking 3 days ago (still showing in the terminal). Whether that was because the battery ran out or for another reason I don’t know.
We’ve called lost property and spoken to them every day but she hasn’t been found. They have her picture and will call us if they see her. We even bought a one way plane ticket so my FIL could clear security and go on a hunt for her yesterday, retrace our steps and speak to everyone in the shops etc but so far we’re not having any success. The AirTag can’t be pinged now so probably should have done that a few days ago.
I’m really not sure that there’s anything else we can do but she is one of the family and I have to try every avenue. There’s no replacement for bunny. She’s a medium cream Jellycat bunny, so although you can buy them in the shops/she has some others her original bunny is very loved (more grey now than cream!) and so it’s not the same at all. She’s had her 8 years, since the day she was born.
I know other seemingly lost toys have been found through the power of mumsnet so although I know how unlikely it is I’m posting on the off chance someone might have seen her, have any bright ideas or be able to share her picture elsewhere that may be able to track her down. I’m in Asia for another week so a bit limited in being able to message or do much so apologies if I can’t reply much.
