We're travelling in May to Greece. 4 hours ish flight, decent family hotel.

Please let me know any or all travel hacks. We've travelled with a 1/2/3/4 year old but this will be first time travelling with a squirmy, doesn't want to sit still, bottle fed 10 month old.

All the thanks in advance!!

We used to buy some new toys for the plane. Just small little toys and snacks.. lots of snacks. We had early morning flights so they slept for an hour or so too which helped. I wouldn’t get stressed. It’s only 4 hours 🙂 have a great time

I did far reaches of Italy when my second was 10 months. I actually really enjoyed that holiday.

For the plane I took a smaller holed bottle for milk on take off and landing so they have to suck harder.

I packed a lightweight pashmina (showing my age) to cover them on the flight as it can be cold in the air.

Take anti bacterial wipes to sanitise surfaces especially when changing them onboard.

A bag with new toys, things to explore. Little bags of treats and enough for the return flight too.

Get up and walk up and down when you can if they are restless. Mine was quite a sleepy child so the flight was easier.

I've seen blow up seat extenders which might make playtime easier.

I bought a lay flat stroller especially for that holiday and it was fab.

I hope you have a wonderful time.

Thank you both so much; really useful tips especially about new toys and a harder to suck bottle!! I'll be using those tips! And you're right, it's only 4 hours!!

We are flying to Greece at the end of this month with our 10 month old.
Glad it's not just me worrying!

I have read someone bought new toys but wrapped them up for thr plane, so it was extra special/additional time to unwrap them!
