Do you love your friends ?

Just that really , if you have close friends, would you say you love them ?
I don't mean in actually say it ( perhaps you do ) but feel it ?
I'm not massively into having lots of friends , never have really as probably a bit of an introvert , but I could not say I've ever liked them enough to feel I could see them as someone I'd class as liking enough to love.

TheSnowyOwl · 05/04/2024 19:15

Yes, my close friends I do.

GoodnightAdeline · 05/04/2024 19:16

Yes, 3 of them. They’re sisters to me.

missin · 05/04/2024 19:17

Yes. A handful of them. I just think the rest are alright for company here and there

JayAlfredPrufrock · 05/04/2024 19:17

Yes. And I’ve told them. Well two them.

All separate to each other.

Hillrunning · 05/04/2024 19:19

I have loved friends. Don't feel that way about any of the current lot.

Ukholidaysaregreat · 05/04/2024 19:20

Yes! Love all my friends and so important to me!

HiHiHey · 05/04/2024 19:22

Yes, there are a few that I love as much (but differently) as family

SusanSHelit · 05/04/2024 19:23

Absolutely. My two closest friends are two of the most wonderful, kind, supportive, warm and funny people I know. I adore them both and see them as family

Cherrysherbet · 05/04/2024 19:23

No. I love my family, but like my friends.

Geebray · 05/04/2024 19:24

No. I adore them, but I do not love them like I love my DH or my family members.

ontheflighttosingapore · 05/04/2024 19:24

2 best friends that I love very much and have a deep bond with. Have been through so much together they could never be replaced and my world is a much happier place with them in it

You just said you adore them. Not love them.

TheNoodlesIncident · 05/04/2024 19:24

Yes, I'm very fond of them, mostly. I went years as Betty-no-mates so I really value the friendships we have. I don't have many though, I'm definitely no social butterfly

GerundTheBehemoth · 05/04/2024 19:24

Yes, I definitely love my close friends.

Thursa · 05/04/2024 19:25

No

"very fond of" is not love.

Hoplolly · 05/04/2024 19:25

No, I like and care about them but after being dumped by other friends I've cared about during my years, I've realised how transient friendships can be.

Believeinmarmite · 05/04/2024 19:25

Yes my group of friends are fabulous, and we do tell each other we love each other regularly

Churchview · 05/04/2024 19:26

Yes I love my three closest friend like family.

ConfrontationDoesntHaveToBeScarey · 05/04/2024 19:26

What's your definition of love?

VanLife33 · 05/04/2024 19:26

I loved one.. and she died a year ago, aged 31 and leaving 4 children behind, the youngest being 4 weeks old

Girliefriendlikespuppies · 05/04/2024 19:26

Yes, my best friends are like sisters to me.
