Do hair salons have a toilet

I have an appointment in a few weeks at a salon. I was in the salon a few times for shorter appointments but my next appointment will be a longer appointment for a balayage. I have a gut/belly issue. I have it managed but sometimes pain and urgency strikes me even when managing the condition.

I am wondering do all hair salons have a toilet? It's just in case I experience issues needing toilet. Hopefully I will have it managed leading up to the day and on the day of the appointment.

Can you ask them? It's not embarrasing and you dont need to divulge the info just ask if there's a toilet available to the public as you'll be there a while

They do. They’ll all have staff toilets and I imagine most have customer toilet as well.

I've never been to one that doesn't. Some people are there for hours if they're having complicated things done.

I would expect most do. The staff will need access to one as well.

My old hairdressers did too. And they had a private smoking area out back so people didn't have to stand with their foils/rollers in in full view of passing traffic 😁

Oh ours had an outside yard to where you would have a smoke it was great god I miss smoking I loved it 😀

Op .yes they will let you use the toilet.

Mine does. I always have to use it as my hairdresser is always giving me tea 😂

Mine does - I wouldn't go if it didn't (no way I could have three cups of tea and not need the loo whilst there for hours having my colour done!)

That's brilliant about the smoking yard out back and so funny.

Some don't and the staff have to use the sinks to wee in.

I don't think I've ever gone to a hairdressers and not used the toilets. I often go twice!! I have also gone shopping etc and come back to use the toilet later when collecting my car from outside. I think it's OK to ask in those circumstances, I wouldn't randomly pop in when passing.

They'll have staff toilets at least. I'd think they were weird if they refused a paying customer access for a wee.

Mine does, the ladies one is a lovely luxurious powder room style.
