Ds woke up sobbing

Ds 8 woke up with marks on his skin . He panicked dived out of bed and his legs were collapsing and he started sobbing. It was just marks from his bed sheets bless him . Really scared him though poor thing

Sounds like he had a night terror or a partial awakening. It can make you see things which aren't there or things which are there, but all distorted. I've seen a lampshade look like a spider and also seen my DM standing in my room (obviously not there)! They do give you a bit of a panic, but fade away as you fully wake up.

No he was awake as he showed his brother. He just panicked i think. And didn't understand.

That seems like a very extreme reaction to marks on his skin.

Most 8 year olds constantly have scrapes, scratches and bruises from rolling around in the mud and generally being active. Does your DS do that kind of thing?

Yes he asd . I should have said in my op . Wasn't thinking. Just felt bit bad for ds.
