Glasses

I need new glasses - the wearing type 🤓, not the drinking ones, hah, I have waaay too many of those!

Do you like your glasses if you wear them?
Mine are just occasional as mostly wear contacts.
But I hate choosing new ones, it’s like buying jeans, once I find a pair I like (and suit!) I tend to stick to the same.
Watching BBC breakfast news now, Naga’s sporting a rather funky fuchsia pair.
Should I?
Would you?
Tell me about your glasses please!

I would recommend going to an independent with a wide range of eyewear and someone to help you work out what suits you.
I go to https://seen.Co.uk in Manchester who have an amazing range of designers [of eyewear not fashion designer branded items] and have excellent customer service.
I am really shortsighted and going there has opened up a range of really nice glasses and excellent lenses, very thin and light.
I have several pairs which I can match to various different outfits too!

Interesting designers include Ann et Valentin, Kuborum, Jacques Marie Mage, and Theo which may give you some ideas of current trends.

I do like my glasses. I first got them 7 or 8 years ago and they were relatively unusual then but now it seemed to be the only style in the two opticians I recently visited. Anyway, I still like them, the shape suits me and they are light and comfortable. I think the original pair were Ralph Lauren.

Naga is on Twitter and has in the past replied when someone asked when her glasses are from, if you'd like to know the brand.

I don't think Naga's type glasses would suit me but I'd have a try!
