Probate how long is it taking at mo?

Got a parents house to sell, completed application for probate. Do you have to wait for paperwork before selling?

Anyone?

I think you can start the selling process - put it on the market but you can't sell it

It took 10 weeks for me last year. I did the application myself, not through a solicitor.

The estate agent told me the house could go on the market but the sale can't be completed without probate.
